In this post I write for all of Americans who offer their prayers and condolences to the people of Bangladesh. Yesterday the country that lies in the southern part of Asia was struck by a vicious tropical cyclone. Cyclone Sidr tore through with winds rising as high as 130 mph. Destroying towns, leaving millions without power, and claiming at least 1,100 lives. But of course there is still devastation following the aftermath. People flee in search of shelter, many without homes. Others search for missing loved ones, with numbers in the thousands of those who have not been found. And so, we can only pray that from this tragedy, God brings his hands of comfort to all the victims of Cyclone Sidr.
Update Nov. 18: Death toll about 10,000
