Killer iPods were at first only pure imagination in Scary Movie 4, but as of a recent news report it's becoming a reality. Or is it? This past weekend Jason Bunch was mowing his lawn and listening to his iPod when lightning struck the electronic device. The powerful shock left burns on his body along with rupturing his eardrums, and damaging his hearing. Why was this guy mowing in a thunderstorm?

Well maybe the storm hadn't started or he thought he was safe, but obviously not. He blames the iPod for the damage, which makes sense, I mean who would blame their own stupidity. In fact just yesterday I was listening to my Zune outside where a storm was heading my way. However I wouldn't stay out in the rain with my Zune, because I wouldn't want the rain to damage it. I got lucky, but if I were in Jason's shoes I think I know where the fault would lie. I think we all know electronics and lightning dont' go together. Lesson learned, be careful what type of weather you're going into with electronics. And just a thought, don't go out with a laptop in bad weather...I mean if lightning strikes with the computer on your lap. So if you never knew the dangers before, here's an iShock.
